Early Days So here we go with my story I was born in December in Essex and I arrived here in Suffolk on 17th March 2002 and was made very welcome by new owner whose previous Birman had died at the age of 16. The drive here took about an hour but I found it rather boring so opted to sleep all the way! I timed my arrival perfectly as the day after I got here was my new owner's birthday so we were able to celebrate the day together although I did find it rather strange to be away from my mum and brothers and sisters for the first time! My 'posh' name is Churston Lara and my breeders are called David and Gale Griggs my new owner is really pleased that they could bring themselves to part with me so that I could live with her instead. Life here is very relaxing and there are lots of toys to play with and lots of different places to rest and sleep. I am looking forward to the arrival of my half brother, Max, in about six weeks time in the meantime I am exploring and finding lots of secret places. My new owner has made me lots of special places to sleep but really I find the knees, chairs and furniture much more interesting - maybe Max will use the cat beds when he arrives!!
