Garden Fun

We have been having loads of fun since I last wrote - Summer seems to be here now and our owner lets us go out into the garden quite often at the moment. It is great to be able to chase each other around and one of our favourite games is to chase around one of the bushes on the lawn. I have that game down to a fine art now and sometimes when Max is chasing me instead of running round I hide in the middle of it so that Max can't find me - he runs around the bush looking for me and I spring out of the middle and jump on him!!!

Max caught his first mouse in the garden the other day - I don't think our owner minded too much because it was just outside the back door and I don't think she wanted it in the kitchen! Anyway Max was a bit of a grump when he caught it because he wouldn't let me near it and wanted it all for himself which wasn't very friendly.

Max was stalking a pigeon the other day and our owner laughed at him - she said something about it being rather ambitious and the fact that a nearly white cat stalking across a green lawn was a bit 'conspicuous' whatever that means? Either way the pigeon flew off before Max got within ten feet of it!

I was in a mischievous mood this morning and decided to attack the bottom of the deckchair when Max was sleeping on it - that surprised him! Then we both took turns at attacking the Yucca plant and I checked out the roots again just to make sure they are OK.
