Max has arrived!!! Yes he has - and to be honest at first I was horrified - he is BOY!! and just like most boys he just loves to play FOOTBALL!!!

I ask you - what is a girl to do? I much prefer netball practice with a toffee paper - he, on the other hand, came in, made a bee line for the first ball he could find and started dribbling it around the lounge (watch out David Beckham!!!). When I went over to investigate he launched into a game with me!

I wasn't having any of that and so I stayed out of his way for an hour or two and just watched from a respectful distance. Later I decided he couldn't be all bad and went to play with him but he was far too sleepy (I guess all that football is rather tiring?)

Eventually he woke up and we had a lovely game of chasing, hiding and leaping which was rather good fun so I expect I shall get used to having him around - just so long as he remembers I was here first so I get first choice on the knees!!!

Just in case you were wondering how much I have grown in 6 weeks!

I am quite a big girl now in comparison

While I relax on the 'cats cradle'

he 'packs away' quite well!

 

He is rather handsome though don't you think?

But perhaps a bit of a poser?



If he thinks he is getting past me..............!

Even if he does sleep rather a lot
