'Stars' at last!!!

Well we finally made it to stardom! - Our owner was simply delighted when she opened issue 293 of Cat World and there we were - looking back at her from page 7. We know that she had sent the photos in but I don't think that she expected them to be published and certainly not in such a prominent position.

We have been having so much fun since I last wrote to you. Max is delighted that he has his very own TV in the kitchen (or at least he thinks he has) he spends ages watching the different programmes and maybe one day he will realise that they all have the same ending and that 'whites', 'delicates', 'spin' and 'boil' are not 'watch with mother' for kittens. One day he will understand what a washing machine really does in the meantime I just leave him to it!

Earlier this week when our owner got home from work and let us out of the kitchen/dining room we found an intruder in the house.......... A little sparrow had got in through an open window and was in her bedroom. Max saw it first and quickly had it in his mouth so our owner hurriedly carried him downstairs and outside where he let it go and it flew off!

Max has had quite an eventful week - this morning he decided to investigate the bath. He had been very curious when our owner was having her bath this morning and did a special 'tightrope walk' along the edge whilst she was in there. Then he sat delicately balanced on the edge of the bath reaching down with one paw into the water to check if it was really wet and just how warm it was! After she had got out and the water had almost gone away he decided to jump into the bath to see what it was really like. Minutes later he came into the bedroom walking a bit like 'John Wayne' all four feet were wet and that was clearly not to his liking. He walked with his feet well apart and kept stopping every few steps to sit down and lick them dry.
